What’s In Boucheron Vanille de Zanzibar

On the island of Zanzibar, you can find different aromatic spices. Once opening the Vanille de Zanzibar, you can easily smell the vanilla fragrance that gives you a warm, earthy, animalistic aroma. With its oriental yet woody and mesmerising smell, it easily becomes addictive.

Some of the main ingredients found in this irresistible perfume are as follow:

  • Bourbon Vanilla
  • Balsam of Peru
  • Heliotrope
  • Jasmine
  • Mandarin
  • Pear
  • Patchouli
  • Sandalwood
  • White Musk

The scent blends into the skin and gives you a super sexy aroma of milk, caramel-honey balanced with a touch of soft wood and spice.

My Personal Thoughts On Boucheron Vanilla De Zanzibar

I never thought I would like  a vanilla based perfume so much. Usually vanilla based fragrances are very sweet and I personally don’t like sweet smells. This perfume is not sweet, its quite woody and spicy yet very feminine. Its very long lasting and totally lifts my mood, which is generally what I’m looking for in a perfume.

When I wear the Boucheron Vanille de Zanzibar I do receive loads of compliments.

Other Boucheron Fragrances

  • For a touch of amber, ambergris, benzoin, musk and vanilla try the Ambre D’Alexandrie
  • For a floral aroma, the Iris de Syracuse consist of black pepper, iris, mandarin, pear and white musk
  • The Néroli D’Ispahan has a mystical mixture of ambrox, ginger, green cardamom, Néroli and pink pepper
  • For a more leather oriental aroma with a touch of incense, the Oud de Carthage is made up of honey, Oud & leather, labdanum and Tonka bean
  • While the Tubéreuse De Madras has a white floral aroma with a touch of orange blossom, passion fruit, tuberose and violet leaf

Try each of these spicy perfumes out and decide for yourself, which one stands out as they are all fantastic.
