ArtOnIt Makeup were kind enough to send me a one of their most amazing shade of red in circa 40.
Occassion:
It was our wedding anniversary and my husband took us out to the only halal place on the Isle of Wight: Pizza Express. (I have moved to London now). I wore a nice leopard print dress from Marks and Spencer. The lipstick looked great with the colours of my dress.
The Colour:
Circa is a brownish red shade of lipstick. You could get away with wearing it as red or as brown, which ever you prefer. With my skin tone it looks like a very dark shade of red and I love it!
Quality:
The lipstick has a nice creamy texture. Its matte and is very moisturising. It is highly pigmented, so little goes a long way. It smells like a lipstick should. You know as the experts say, if a beauty product smells of perfume then its not real or unsafe for the user.
Packaging:
The lipstick has a nice silver metallic casing of a high quality. Its got the ArtOnIt logo on the lid that looks very trendy. You can easily carry it in your bag everyday as the lid is very secure.
Skin Tones:
Although it will suit all kinds of skin tones but I think its specifically great for Asian skin tones. I find it very hard to find just the right shade of red for myself. This one is just the perfect shade of red lipstick.
How To Wear It:
When ever you wear a dark shade of lipstick, make sure your eyes are not bold. The best thing to do is just to contour your eyes with natural colours. Wear your favourite eyeliner, mascara and kohl/kajal. Don’t over do your eye brows. This will put all the attention on your lips and will make you look more classically glamorous. Try it!
