Burberry lipsticks were talk of the town when Burberry first released its beauty collection. Since then I fell in love with Burberry more. The Burberry lipsticks were named Burberry Kisses, and in today’s post I talk about my experience with these lipsticks.

First Impressions of Burberry Kisses Lipsticks
I bought 2 shades of burberry lipsticks.
- Military Red
- Damson
Burberry Military Red: Being a shade of red, this lipstick does not fail to mesmerise you. It may seem to be slightly orangish and may be different on different skin tones. The pigmentation is great and very moisturising. It may also give a translucent effect on some people. Its great for valentine’s day!
Burberry Damson: This is a shade of purple. It is also very pigmented and moisturising. I found this to be more long lasting than Military Red but both are great in their own places.
Packaging:
The lipsticks came in nice gift boxes that I totally fell in love with.
The casing of the lipsticks is very secure with magnetic lids.
How To Make A Dark Lips Look Nice
The best way to wear a dark lipstick is by keeping a balance between your eye makeup and your lips.
I personally think nude or light lips look great with bold or dark eye makeup. Dark lips looks amazing with light eye makeup. It totally balances your look and does not look like you’re all over the place.
Similarly use dark lipsticks with light colour clothing and vice versa. It will really give you a glamorous look.
How To Wear A Dark Lipstick Without Making A Mess
I found my own way of wearing a dark lipstick.
- The best thing is to apply it in the centre of both your lips.
- Press your lips together and mix the lipstick.
- Use a lip liner of a similar shade to define your lips.
- Lightly apply a lip gloss over the lipstick.
