Giveaway: Win Boudoir Hamper With Hold Tightly

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the Hold Tightly Giveaway. It is very simple to participate in this competition. All you have to do is click here Boudoir Hamper Competition and sign up for their News Letter.

I had a conversation with Adrienne Henderson, the founder of Hold Tightly. In this interview you will learn what Hold Tightly is all about. Enjoy reading!

What is Hold Tightly, tell us your story.
HoldTightly is a laundry bag specifically designed for hosiery – the bag holds 5 pairs at one time – prevents tangles and knots during the washing and drying process.  It helps to protect the tights and stockings from damage during the whole laundry cycle. Also great for popsocks and the little stocking inserts we use during the summer months to protect our shoes when we go bare foot.
HoldTightly keeps them tidy and together and prolongs the life of the hosiery – they also feel very soft when washed and dried in a HoldTightly.
The inspiration come from my mother who is partially sighted. In the past, on many occasions, she threw tights and stockings away because she couldn’t see the untangle them, the frustration was immense.  I also remembered times as a mother going through the same process when laundering school tights for the girls.  I had during that time often thought there must be a easier and quicker way to do this job.
We designed the bag in such a way the tights would not tangle during the washing and drying process and at the same time would also deliver a good clean wash.
The technology is in the fabric and the unique closure mechanism – I took 18months of research and numerous designs and many hours of testing to create this product for the wider market.  The reason we are bringing it to market is because my daughters also asked if I  could make a HoldTightly for them to use – both girls live and work in the city lead very busy lives and hosiery is a must for their work wardrobe – they loved using the HoldTightly as much as Grandma did but for totally different reasons.
We decided to give it a go – a very simple and straight forward design – easy and straightforward to use we have received great comments from our test groups.
It is also suitable for socks, although these do take longer to dry if you choose dry them in the HoldTightly bag.
The hosiery is placed in the bag, then into the washing machine and then the dryer once this is complete you can place the HoldTightly straight into your drawer – you now you have 5 pairs of laundered paired and untangled stockings.  Great for travelling, great for privacy if you use the laundrette and its one action only process.
What kind of people does Hold Tightly cater to?
24 – 45 year old professional women who wear hosiery everyday – its an essential part of their wardrobe. We are aiming towards the informed professional woman who posses a knowledgeable and an informed approach to managing their work and social wardrobes.
We have also created a High Viz version for people who are partially sighted and to cater for those with low vision and those who are registered blind.
As a business we make a donation to three charities for every high-viz HoldTightly sold, RNIB, See the Future and Macular Society.
How is Hold Tightly unique?
HoldTightly is the only product on the market which will take the hosiery from wearing to laundering, drying and storing in one bag – it is suitable for use in all standard washing machines and wash/drying combination machines. As I mentioned before it is a one action process. HoldTightly is also suitable for hand washing.
It is also the only hosiery bag made to accommodate those with impaired vision.
