Interview With Dr Chiezda Kambasha

Today here’s an interview with Dr Chiezda Kambasha who is an inspiration for the youth and many young entrepreneurs.

 What exactly has driven you towards success?

Growing up I was always a handful for my parents without having the right equilibrium of playtime and work time, now one day while speaking with my father he basically said something a rang a bell in my head , his words were convenience and luxury are great things but to enjoy they you have to create the environment that enables you to experience both, so within that moment I found myself with my head buried in research and attending the right social settings to network, now its these networking events that I was driven by meeting young successful entrepreneurs and experiencing how they operate on a day to day basis, then realizing that I was really a couple steps behind, I began to seek my USP unique selling point and finding a strategy to build and it into a financial package, so in a nutshell I have been driven by an intensive environment that forced me to think and seek opportunities outside the box.

 What difficulties did you face when you were climbing the ladder?

I have faced a multitude of barriers especially social barriers being in Europe as an entrepreneur of african descent, ranging from financing, marketing and brand acceptance, but each time I cried about it, I kept saying ” It doesn’t matter, Im going to get it, Im going to make it” I would talk to myself literally yelling at myself for not pushing hard enough, but the key there was realizing that every difficult situation going up the ladder has a strategic bound, a bound that allows you to breakthrough if carefully planned and rolled out, today I look at situations I perceived to be difficult and realize that had I been lazy to give up , I would be in a factory somewhere packing flowers for Marks and Spencer.

Opportunity, but it has to be the right education, one can study 2 or 3 degrees, but if they lack a practical application model to be integrated in the real world you become stuck with a cluster of theoretical minions, we live in a realistic and practical world and henceforth the right approach should be achieved to be successful, this is why entrepreneurs are a key element in society as its not about the education, we think outside the box, we look for solutions to problems and we see every obstacle as a challenge to overcome and laugh about later, laughing all the way to the bank that is. Again today education is all about branding, the right course, the right course and upon graduation you find the perfect fit, Im big on a pro-educated society as productivity and appreciation of ideas and handwork become a normalcy.
