We visited Needles Park on Saturday . The drive was obviously beautiful with very scenic views, farms, fields, hills and forests. It is in the west of Isle of Wight located at Alum Bay. It is best to arrive at 3 as you will not be charged for parking but do remember that it closes at 4pm. The main highlight of this place are the chair lifts (£4) that take you down to the beach, you can also take the stairs. From the beach you can take a guide boat (£5.50) that tours up to the Needles (The white chalky rocks) , here you can take photos as the scene is extremely beautiful.
The cone was too big and I could not finish it.
There is also a glass making and sweet making live demonstration held here. It is worth seeing.
