Joules are one clothing brand that I’ve had my eyes on for a long time. Especially during my stay on the Isle of Wight, I happened to come across its store on the Cowes High Street. Before that I had on and off seen it on the brand alley website.
Joules tweed jackets are to die for. I finally got my hands on one from the Christmas sale. I love it truly madly and deeply. Its extremely, yes extreeeemely comfortable. I’m a size 10 but in some brands, size 10 jackets are a little bit tight. But this one is just amazing and fits perfectly!
I also bought a pink checkered scarf to go with the jacket. Again, its very warm and can be styled and contrasted with any other colours you really like. I especially love to wear it with a light blue shirt as it really complements the pink.
Cross body bags are an absolutely essential part of my life. I love trendy hand bags but don’t you agree, its so much more convenient to use a cross body bag as you are completely hands free. And unlike a backpack, you have easy access to your phone and money. Hence I got this Joules Mayfair Leather Cross Body bag as I love leather bags especially if they are convenient for travelling. This bag is also available in black and grey colours.
Backpack is also very important when I’m travelling. So I bought this as I needed it for my laptop and charger. I also like to keep some emergency items in it like clothes, an extra pair of glasses and other things that don’t have to go in my cross body bag.
I also bought these very cute mittens. I usually don’t wear gloves but since my son started nursery, they have become an essential part of my daily life. Made of 100% wool, these mittens are very warm.
The mittens were actually in a gift box along with a stainless steel mug and a hand cream. I specifically asked the lady at the counter if the mug was for drinking purpose or just ornamental. She said, its for drinking. But she didn’t tell me what and I didn’t even ask. haha! I, being stupid and dumb, made tea in it and the handle was of course very hot! I also bought another gift set with a shower gel and a face wash in it. I have yet to try these but i’m sure, they will not disappoint me.
