When you feel tense and stressed, the best way to unwind and relax is to soak in a nice warm bath.

My idea of an ideal bath are aromatic candles, bath salts, bath melts, a moisturising soap bar and some relaxing music.

How To Fix A Relaxing Bath

Although everyone has their own way of fixing a bath but if you really want to relax and forget all your worries, then here is what you can do:

  • Fill the bath with hot water. Hot enough to tingle on your skin and not burn. This is because as you prepare your bath, the water will start to get cold. You do want to make the most of your hot bath.
  • Hot water also 100% helps clean up your skin.
  • As the water is filling, add some relaxing bath products like bath melts and bath salts, to fill the bathroom with a relaxing aroma.
  • Light the candles and put on some relaxing bath music.
  • Soak and relax in the bath for as long as you like.
  • Take deep breaths for aromatherapy.
  • After you are done, use a body lotion to keep your skin from drying up.

Precautions To Take While Taking A Bath

  • Make sure that you are keep yourself hydrated on the day you plan to take bath because hot bath and steam can dehydrate you and make you feel sleepy. Did you know that steam was one of the factors contributing to death of the beautiful singer, Whitney Houston? So keep yourself hydrated ad try not to drink alcohol when you are in the hot steamy bathroom.
  • Touch the water to see if its the right temperature, you don’t want to get scalds and burns.
  • If there are children and pets in your house, then make sure you drain all the water out to avoid any accidents.
  • Make sure you are not allergic to any of the products you are using. Many essential oils, although being organic, can cause irritation and allergies.

My Thoughts On Heyland and Whittle:

I used some of Heyland and Whitle bath products and totally fell in love with all of them.

The products smell of organic essential oils and are great for relaxing.

All the products are luxurious, especially the bath melts are so cute.

Their products are available at many stores such as John Lewis.
