Skin Plus IQ Chelsea London Hydratite Facial Review On the 8th of December 2021 I was invited for a HydraTite facial at Skin + IQ Plus Chelsea London. It was my first ever beauty invitation during the pandemic. I instantly said yes to this invititaion without any hestitaion.

I set off from Reading on a train and into Paddington. My sister was waiting there with her big smiley face. We made our way to Sloane Station, had some lunch at Cafe Concerto on Kings Road, hung out a bit in the Tate modern shop.

Then we were on our way, on foot, to Skin + IQ , a few minutes from Kings Road, nestled between some shops.

It was a typical british weather, we were all wet when we reached. Skin Plus IQ Chelsea London Hydratite Facial Review

We were welcomed by a gentleman at the reception and the lovely Alise who did my facial.

I filled up some waiver forms and was then good to go. Skin Plus IQ Chelsea London Hydratite Facial

What is HydraTite?

HydraTite is a needle and pain free hydrafacial combined with Forma radiofrequency to give you a hydrated glow.

What did the HydraTite Involve?

I lay down on a comfortable bed while Alise started my facial with some basic cleansing to take off my makeup. Your skincare and foundation can effect the process so its best to take it off.

It was then followed by detox which was some intense lymphatic drainage. This was done with a little pipe like divice which slightly sucked the skin.

After that she did some deep cleansing which was very therapeutic and relaxing.

Next was exfoliation with glycolic acid. Exfoliation is important to get rid of dead cells and impurities from your skin. Glycolic acid is one of the best exfoliants in the world as it peels off the dead layer of your skin, giving new skin cells a chance to rejuvenate your skin.

It also involved radiofrequency therapy and LED light therapy.

My Thoughts On Hydratite Facial:

After the facial my face looked sculpted. This didn’t last long and its completely normal. Regular facials can help your face develop a nice shape, especially if you’re at an age where ageing really concerns you.

For two to four days after the facial, my skin felt quite rough, as the facial was a bit intense. I kept thinking, what is happening to my skin. It was not noticable when I looked in the mirror but felt rough and odd to touch. This was completely normal.

Once the skin had heeled, I saw such a healthy glow on my skin. Although it didn’t remove any of my black heads but even one month after the facial, I still had a very healthy hudrated glow on my face. It was just surreal.

Even if I didn’t moisturise my skin, which I don’t recommend to anyone, it was still glowing. The natural oils of my skin came out sometime after I washed my face every morning, I didn’t always need to moisturise, but being in my late 30s I still moisturised my face with a light moisturiser.

It has been 2 months since I had the facial done, and the glow is still there but ofcourse its much lesser than I first got the facial done.

Do I recommend the HydraTite Facial at Skin IQ Plus?

Absolutely yes! The services were amazing and so was the facial. Getting the facial done regularly will surely make a difference. The hydration is intense and it lasts for a very long time.

We then ended our day with some saffron cake and coffee at the Letto Caffe on Kings Road and then made our way home.
