I have always been reaching for tea towels and burning myself in the process. I had the opportunity of testing them in the week as I had guests over for dinner and needed to do lots of cooking. Time to test my new gloves and was I surprised. They are brilliant, easy to pull on and off and fit comfortably and not too big. I grabbed trays with ease while the heat resistant silicone dots on the inside of the gloves gripped well.
They do not fit only to the end of my wrist and longer than traditional gloves and protects the underside of the arm. Another great thing about these gloves is that they are heat resistant up to 350° C (662°F) and long enough to protect my arms from the oven’s grill. The Silicone fingerprint imprinted on the gloves makes it easier to grip. The gloves are available in both small and medium sizes. In addition, the Aramid/Paramid combination is very heat resistant.
I even tried them after one of the light bulbs in my home suddenly decided to blow made changing the light bulb that was still very hot a breeze. They definitely do what they are meant to do and that is providing excellent protection.
I recommend these gloves designed by Tio Tina Cookware; they are brilliant and great for both kitchen and commercial use for a firm grip for taking the warm cookware out of the oven to turn skewers. They are the best thing ever and for a fussy person that keeps burning myself these are lifesavers.
